Q: What is your age/Where are you from? 

My name is Taylen Howard and I’m 8 years old, from Cabarita Beach NSW.

Q: How long have you been racing dirt track for?

I started riding at Mike Hatchers Junior Motorcycle Club when I was 5 and have been racing competitively for 18 months.

Q: What is it about motorbikes / dirt track that made you want to try it out?

I like going super fast! My bikes go fast and are fun to race against my friends.

Q: Do you have any exciting plans for this Winter?

My birthday is in Winter so I am excited to turn 9 which means I can race in the 85cc/150cc class – these bikes are bigger and faster!

Q: Do you have any goals for this Winter?

I hope to defend the Central Coast Cup and NSW Titles

Q: What made you want to be a team rider for Alphabet Soup?

Alphabet clothes are rad and I have worn them for years. The team riders are a cool young crew that I wanted to be a part of and share my thrill of motorbikes with – hopefully we all get to meet each other one day.

Q: What's your favourite Alphabet Soup clothing from this Winter collection?

Can’t wait to wear the Thrills N’ Chills Raincoat with my Shaka Cap and Shaka Socks. I’m known as the blonde hair, blue eyed surfy kid with shark bikes at the track.

Q: Who's your biggest influence (at the dirt track / life)? 

Casey Stoner - who started riding at Mike Hatchers when he was younger.

Marc Marquez – who smashes the Moto GP.

My Dad - who encourages and coaches me in everything I do.

Q: Describe a perfect Winters day?

An early morning surf with Dad followed by a Club Day at my local racetrack ending with home cooked lasagna with my family.

Q: What would you want to be doing in 10 years from now?

I want to race in the Moto GP, which would take me all around the world, on the fastest Ducati.
